Year In Review
With the year coming to a close, we decided to take a look back on some of this years milestones and events in our Purdue Studio. This was a busy year for DFA Purdue, we visited Leadership Studio, had team members interning at DFA Nationals, and hosted Midwest Meetup! Here's a quick look back on some of the highlights of the 2017-2018 studio year.
August 2017 - Studio Members Megan Pinkley, Alejandro Calvo, Anna Luebker, and Micheal Capek visited DFA Nationals Interns Jesse Palma and Julia Hatfield at the 2017 DFA Nationals Leadership Studio! We participated in a two day long design sprint focusing on accessibility in the city and enjoyed exploring Northwestern's campus.
September 2017 - We held our first all-studio meeting of the year along with our first Design Sprint
November 2017 - DFA Purdue announces that the 2018 Midwest Meetup will be held at our campus!
February 2018 - We spent most of first semester preparing for Midwest Meetup, and held our second Design Sprint for incoming members!
February 23-25 - Midwest Meetup! We had such a blast catching up with our friends from other studios and hearing from the speakers.
April 2018 - DFA Purdue took home the Community Engagement and Involvement Award from Purdue Life Honors!
